Jon called me when he arrived home a week or so ago to find that the contractor had gone through the house and fixed all the nail "pops" from when the tree hit the house. Jon said they were everywhere, but you don't quite get the whole idea until you see all of them. I was think maybe 20 or so.....Nope there are hundreds. Here is a picture of one of the walls, the wall with the smallest number of fixed nail "pops".
There were more white marks below where the picture was taken. Basically every wall we painted before we moved in now has to be repainted. Yes I am glad they fixed them but we now have some work to do that we weren't planning on.

This week has been a very busy week at our house. They have put siding on all the house but the garage, yes they agreed to let us put a garage door on it. Here is a picture of the old look vs. the new look.

We also have new curtains for the kitchen and my MIL and I were going to hang them up on Monday night, but Jon reminded me that I would have to take them down to paint the kitchen. So on Sunday afternoon, we decided that we should paint the kitchen from white to a clay/tan color. Since it needed two coats, we were unable to put the curtains up on Monday and will hopefully get them up this week. Anyway here is a picture during the painting process of the color in the kitchen.

We are hoping that this week we will have the garage sided and the gutters put on the house and we will be done! It has been 5 months since this has been going on.
