Baby Rood!!

We had our first OB appointment on Thursday and we were able to see our baby and hear the baby's heartbeat. It was so cool. This picture above shows the baby still and some of the others were of the baby moving its hands and feet. The baby's fetal heart rate was 158 bpm and the doctor said everything looks great so far.
Our next appointment is Feb. 2nd were we will meet with the Periontologist who specializes in High Risk pregnancies. My doctor wanted me to see my heart doctor in Omaha before that date so after the appointment I called to see if I could get in and they said the earliest would be March 6th, so I asked if I could get in before Feb. 2nd. They said they had an appointment the next day Friday at 8:00 am and wondered if I could make that appointment. Since it was about 4:15 on Thursday I needed to check with my boss before I agreed to the appointment. Of course they were able to get a sub so off to Omaha we went. How bad does that look, I go for my first appointment and immediately the next day I have to go see my heart doctor? Well both appointments went extremely well. The doctor in Omaha said he saw nothing that would cause complications at this time and thinks we will have a great pregnancy. He also said we have less than a 15% chance of the baby having a defect of the heart. We will be trying to find out what we are having around 20 weeks and we will be having a fetal echocardiogram on the baby. This is just like an ultrasound but they look at the baby's heart for any defects to be aware of before birth. This will take place between 20-24 weeks I believe in Omaha. Okay I will be putting up a picture of the bathroom soon and from our trip to Vegas for New Year's too. Take Care for now.
