The Big Ultrasound!!

This is a pick of the ultrasound on Feb. 2nd.

We will be having our big ultrasound, where we are able to find out whether the baby is a boy or a girl, at the beginning of April. This seems a little later than I had thought but am hoping for really good 3D pictures this time. I know it will be here before we know it especially with track season starting. This means summer will be right around the corner :)

This track season will be a little more stressful as I am now the head 8th track coach which has a little more responsibility than the head 7th track coach. This will certainly be a fun, exciting year! We hope!

We will have a check-up on March 5th where they will do the quad screening. I know many people decline this test but my doctor feels the more we know about the baby come arrival day the better prepared we can be. So I know I need to drink lots of fluids as they will be taking lots of blood work that day. We also are traveling to Omaha on March 27th for a fetal echo on the baby's heart to check for any defects. It sounds like the chance of passing on the defects is less than 5%.

I will post if I find out anything in the next few weeks news worthy but will definitely post when our ultrasound date will be.
