One year Anniversary!

I can't believe it has been one year since the tornados hit Kearney, May 29, 2009. I thought the timing was horrible last year as we were getting ready to leave for our wedding in the few weeks that followed. Now I can't imagine dealing with this while being pregnant. It is weird to say but we feel it was a blessing in disguise as with all the updates to our home, our value has gone up. Here are some photos of then and now.

If you notice in the back ground there are several other large trees that weren't even touched. I guess we were the lucky ones?!!?

We now have a garage in place of the carport.

We extended the garage in the back for storage purposes.Our bathroom all updated. We now have a shower and a tub upstairs. It is bright but we lost our window so the green makes up for it.
