One Month Old!

Wow, does time fly! Kinleigh was one month old today and we went in for a weight check. Last weight check she was 7lbs 8oz which they were happy with. She had gained 7 oz in 4 days and they hope for .5 to 1 oz a day which would have been 2-4. Today she weighed 8lbs 9oz which is only 9oz more than when she was born, but it was 17 oz more in 14 days! They would have been happy with 7-14oz.Kinleigh also had her first "real" bath today as her cord just fell off on Saturday! Seemed to take a while but they say not to worry unless it is still on at a month. Whew, that was close! Kinleigh has a bath lounge chair that sits her upright. She just sat there looking around enjoying the water. Glad she like it.I had my check-up and I'm healing well. I was below my pre-pregnancy weight, yippee! She said my scar was barely noticeable and must be like a hairline scar. I tried to look but can't tell exactly where it is at. I asked when I could return bowling and she said at 4 weeks which confused me as I can't vacuum until 6 weeks. I still think I will wait until at least 6 weeks as long as I still feel this good.

Kinleigh definitely gets out. We go up to Target and Walmart probably 3-4 days a week, had a few doctors appointments, taken daddy to lunch...and tonight, we are heading to the Big Apple to watch daddy and his bowling team tonight.
