Baby's Heart

Baby's heart is doing well, appears to have no defects. I asked if by chance some defects might show up later, as mine weren't discovered until I was 15. They said that they probably would have noticed my coarctation had there been a reason to look at my heart when I was younger. They said if the baby had a coarctation they would have been able to see it today. We were very happy with the results. Baby was very active flipping a ton during the echo and making the doctor work hard to see the heart. To bad that wasn't yesterday as we probably would have had better luck finding out the gender of the baby.

I did ask the doctor about the differing views with the perientologist about the delivery methods and my heart doctor does think baby would handle either method well, he doesn't think it would be a wise idea for me to have the baby vaginally. The stress on the inside of my aorta would be to great to chance, so it will be a c-section for me for sure. I am okay with this, as I have prepared myself for a while for this type of surgery.

Now if I just knew for sure what baby will be, my shopping experience would go much better.
